We carry a wide variety of yarn weights and bases for all your knitting and crochet needs. We carry combed top, carded batts, roving, and puni-style rolags. We make our own high whorl drop spindles from locally and ethically harvested hardwoods from the North Woods of Maine. Each is selected for beauty and function.

The Highland Happy Hands are the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program at Highland Elementary. We use American Sign Language to communicate with each other and work on speech and listening skills. There are students of all levels of hearing who attend Highland. We love teaching others to sign and helping each other. We are a Happy Hands signing community. Thursday, December 1, 2011.
